ABOUT US
Pragati Sangha Durga Puja Samiti (PSDPS) is registered under the Government of NCT, Delhi vide order No. S/62941/2008 dated 6/8/2008. It is a reputed organisation, having been completed its nineteenth year of existence in the locality of Shyam Vihar. It was founded in 2001 by the then President, PSDPS, Shri Chittaranjan Paul and subsequently, guarded by our esteemed predecessors. The Samiti celebrates Durga Puja, Kali Puja and Saraswati puja in every year with a great enthusiasm with full co-operation and support of local people without discriminating against any caste and creed. Presently, the Samiti has 53 active Members and an elected Executive Committee with the prime responsibility to keep the continuity of the traditions and culture and maintain its glory up to the mark. The books of accounts are properly being maintained by the Samiti and duly audited by a Chartered Accountant.

Extending Social help to the community people by matrimonial communication and support unprivileged for marriage purpose.

Act as a platform to raise funds for charitable purposes for the community.

Inviting a famous Bengali persona to encourage and guide the people.

Also, organize a Blood Donation camp on Netaji’s Birthday on 23rd January every year.

NEWS
FUTURE PLANNING "PSDPS"
The Samiti intends to purchase a land approximately 400-500 Sq. yards to build a Mandir of Lord Shiva and Goddess Kali in Shyam Vihar location. The approximate cost of land and construction of Mandir would be about Rs.2.5 crore. Initially, the Samiti desires to purchase the land and the construction of Mandir would be taken up in a phased manner.

समिति का इरादा लगभग ४००-५०० वर्गमीटर जमीन खरीदने का है। श्याम विहार स्थान में भगवान शिव और देवी काली का मंदिर बनाने के लिए गज। लैपड और मंदिर के निर्माण की अनुमानित लागत लगभग २५ करोड़ रुपये होगी। प्रारंभ में, समिति भूमि खरीदने की इच्छा रखती है और मंदारवॉ ल्ड के निर्माण को चरणबद्ध तरीके से लिया जाता है।
OUR REQUEST
All devotees and well-wishers are requested to donate generously a minimum of Rs.5,000/- (No upper limit) for the noble cause. The willing persons are requested to give their consent along with the amount of donation so that we can proceed further.
Honoring the list of donors, each name will be appropriately engraved in the concrete/stone plates.

दाताओं की सूची का सम्मान करते हुए, प्रत्येक नाम को कंक्रीट / पत्थर की प्लेटों में उचित रूप से उत्कीर्ण किया जाएगा।
